At Nuvo, we specialize in the acquisition, growth and development of hospitality brands and assets. We generate industry-leading restaurant and bar concepts for people that live, work and play in the metropolis of downtown San Jose.
Each restaurant and bar offers a captivatinging and charming ambience coupled with welcoming and accommodating service and innovative fare. Today, Nouveau Hospitality Group operates five restaurants, bars and venues with additional locations under development. DAVE MULVEHILL, CHIEF OF OPERATIONS
David Mulvehill moved to the Bay Area from Ireland in 2001. He is proud to be a downtown San Jose resident and feels very lucky to be welcomed into this friendly and diverse community. David comes from the countryside of Ireland and even though San Jose is a big city, he says the hospitality of the downtown businesses and residents give it a small town feel. He began bartending at O'Flaherty's Irish Pub over 15 years ago and was honored to be given the opportunity by the O'Flaherty family 9 years ago to become a partner in the business. Since then, he’s worked on several successful projects in downtown San Jose specifically San Pedro Square.
Jeff Worrell, Director of Operations
Jeff was born and raised in San Jose and has over 10 years of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry - from dishwashing to management and everything in between. Jeff brings eagerness, creativity and an upbeat attitude to Nuvo Hospitality and has a passion for working with our staff to make the guest experience like no other. When he is not on the clock, Jeff enjoys running and spending time with family.
GENNA CARR, DIRECTOR OF ADVERTISING & DESIGN
Genna Carr is a University of San Jose State graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Advertising and a minor in Creative Marketing. She is a native of Los Angeles, yet now calls San Jose home after over ten years of studying and working in the city. Genna loves fashion, cinema, and most importantly the food & beverage industry. She flourishes on both the business and creative facets of the bars and restaurants, making her the ideal fit at Nuvo Hospitality Group. Her training and experience in advertising and marketing have prepared her to apply her skills in design, detail and layout on a practical level while also allowing her visionary ability to anticipate and prepare for the future and more effective and profitable endeavors. Genna made partner in 2021 and is responsible for managing each venue’s art direction and marketing efforts.
STACEY FOGOLIN, EVENTS DIRECTOR
Stacey is a San Jose native with an extensive background in the food & beverage industry. Although she has lived in San Jose most of her life, she also spent some time living in San Luis Obispo while attending Cal Poly. Stacey began her tenure in the industry as a bartender and has since held several roles including F&B Manager and General Manager in the hotel and restaurant sectors of the industry. Her competitive drive of sales and passion for the business make her a viable fit for her most recent role as Director of Events at Nuvo Hospitality Group. In her free time Stacey enjoys cooking and being adventurous outdoors.
